When was linear perspective discovered?
Linear perspective is thought to have been invented by 1415 by Italian Renaissance architect Filippo Brunelleschi and later documented by architect and writer Leon Battista Alberti in 1435. What is one point perspective and how does it work? One point perspective is a drawing method that shows how things appear to get smaller as they get further away, converging towards a single ‘vanishing point’ on the horizon line. It is a way of drawing objects on a flat piece of paper so that they look three-dimensional. How did you use one point perspective? I used one point perspective when we created the 7 shapes that all receded back to one vanishing point. They all looked 3 dimensional. My group also used a vanishing point for the wall art made with tape and spelled out the word "really".
